Time
Traveler Maps was created in 1995 by
Frank
Lister.
The son of noted archaeologists and writers, Bob
and Florence Lister, Frank was raised in field
camps from the Sahara to Mexico and the American
southwest.

His
life experiences include assistant cartographer on
the Aswan Dam Project along the Nile in Africa;
project director for the development of the Ute
Mountain Tribal Park in southwestern Colorado; park
planner for national parks in Paraguay as a
Smithsonian/Peace Corps volunteer; and a pioneer in
the mountain bike industry with his touring
company, Detours.

Today
Lister is assembling a team of experts to produce
new and unique thematic maps and related materials.
His goal is to take maps back into the realm of
fine art, while developing new educational tools
and related materials.
